No-exam life insurance
What accelerated underwriting is, who is eligible, and how it differs from traditional approval pathways.
Numerous carriers now feature accelerated underwriting: eligible applicants within age and amount caps receive decisions using application data, medication history, driving records and additional information rather than medical examination. Approvals can sometimes occur within hours. Our quotations specify whether exams are mandatory, possible, or waived for each product.
What it changes
Skipping a medical exam does not eliminate underwriting. Your statements are validated, and policies issued based on false information can be rescinded within twenty-four months. Should the carrier's research raise concerns, it may still require an examination or additional testing; you retain the choice to proceed.
Who tends to qualify
Applicants typically under age sixty seeking coverage amounts below the carrier's accelerated threshold, with minimal health problems and no tobacco or nicotine in the past year. Some carriers may substitute recent bloodwork from a doctor visit for a formal exam.
Should an exam be necessary, a paramedical professional typically visits your home or workplace in the Moorpark area for a session lasting twenty to thirty minutes, at no charge. An exam can often improve your health classification for qualified applicants—it's not inherently disadvantageous.
